What’s the big idea?
I get a little frustrated that as people get older they seem to lose the will to go out and enjoy live music; likewise when people do go out they are far more likely to retreat to the music of their youth and will either shell out to see a group of 50 something has-beens perform, or even worse pay good money to go and see a “tribute act”; or a covers band as they are less kindly called.
So, I was kind of thinking that if I review various venues then I might just help give a returning live music fan a bit of information that will explain a bit about what the venue is like and what they might expect.
Who knows if it will help persuade someone to go out there and give a fresh young band a listen…. drop me a message if it does.
